When Hertta Publishing contacted me about a possible book cover gig—and not just any book cover gig, but one for a young adult verse novel, a genre I absolutely adore—I had to skip around a couple of times before replying, "YES, PLEASE."

From the very beginning, it felt like we were on the same page (pun not intended) about the direction we wanted to take. After lots of illustrating and color palette testing, the author, Päivi, Hertta’s team, and I all fell in love with the final result.
