When Hertta publishing contacted me about a possible book cover gig, and not just any book cover gig, but for a young adult verse novel which is a genre I adore, I had to skip a couple times before answering YES PLEASE. From the first moment it felt that we were on the same page (pun not intended) on what we wanted to do. And after a lot of color palette testing, we ended up loving the result.
